This organic saffron comes nicely packaged in 1 gram recyclable plastic sealed containers to preserve freshness.
This saffron is grown in the european tradition and is less bitter than Persian saffron, the threads are cut a little longer, and the saffron is bright and colourful.
For preparation of this saffron we recommend toasting until you smell the aroma release, and then crush in a pestle and mortar before adding directly to cooking liquid. Use approximately 1/6 of a gram to flavour a dish for 4 – 6 people.
